The Neruda poems are wonderful. I mean his work is usually stellar but these odes are among the most accessible. I was given this book a number of years ago on my birthday and consider it one of my most treasured books of poetry. The binding is exceptional. I appreciate having the poems in both Spanish and their (very good) English translation. But the standout for this book are the marvelous line drawings.
