Product Description:
A stranger in two worlds

Conceived in a lie and trapped in a tree throughout her gestation, Morrigan's birth was truly magical. After that start, she spend the next eighteen years raised as a normal girl in Oklahoma.

Upon discovering the truth of her heritage, her rage and grief take on a power of their own, carrying her back to the world of Partholon. Yet, instead of being respected as the daughter of the goddess Incarnate, Morrigan feels like a shunned outsider.

In her desperation to belong in Partholon, she confronts forces she doesn't fully understand or control. And soon a strange darkness draws closer . . .

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Disappointing
I liked the two previous books and was very disappointed by the third one. There wasn't really any character growth on Kegan's part, as he just seemed like a typical womanizer and searching for power. And Morrigan seemed very arrogant to the point of being a spoiled brat. I was also disappointed by Shannon's and Clanfintan's role (or lack of) in the book. I know the book doesn't circle around that couple, but the ending and the fight with the 3-faced God could have been way better.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Comparing Partholon to watching paint dry....
drying paint is much more exciting. Against my better judgement I picked this book up and tried it. I wanted to like it, but 'Divine By Blood' was a disappointment from beginning to end.

With all the 'baggage' from the tired plot device we had to wade through in 'Divine By Choice', I thought that more would be heard from Shannon's daughter and indeed Shannon herself. 'Divine By Blood' centers around Rhiannon's daughter Morrigan and her realization of her heritage and powers.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Not as good
This is a typical sequel...not nearly as good as the originals. This is the first book in the series I haven't liked. I don't recommend it. The characters are of much different disposition that the originals, and the plot was fast paced but the content was disappointing.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - A Bit Disappointing
After the first two Parthelon books, I couldn't wait for the conclusion, especially since it featured Rhiannon's daughter Morrigan. Unfortunately, while the plot moved along at a brisk pace, I found myself unable to connect to any of the characters, especially those of Morrigan and Keegan, her High Shaman soulmate. I found them both arrogant and self involved, and by the end of the book I can honestly say that I really didn't care what happened to them. It's a shame really, Because I thoroughly enjoyed ... Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Divine Goodbye
I didn't expect to enjoy Divine by Blood as much as I did. I've read both Divine by Mistake and Divine by Choice, I liked the story where it stood and didn't see a need for a third novel. fortunately curiosity got the better of of me, otherwise I would have passed by an excellent book.

Morrigan Parker was born to be somone very special, only she doesn't know it yet. What she does know is that she has never felt like she belonged. Strange Voices in the wind, Odd abilities, why are things happening ... Read More
