The purpose of Poetry Connection is to showcase quality poetry to literature students and aficionados alike. In addition to texts of published poems, there is also a biography on each featured poet.

Every day a new poem is featured as the Poem of the Day, so be sure to bookmark that page for a quick recommended read. If you want to see what poems have been featured since the site opened for business on March 5 2003, go to the Poem of the Day Archive.

I will continue to add new poets and poems as often as possible. The poets listed right now are among my favorites with a slight emphasis on the classic authors. If you have any poet you'd like to see featured here I'd love to hear about it.
